After four months of training the Acton branch of the Shorinji Kempo UK Federation now has a healthy number of members for the size of the venue. However, there is still room for up to four more and beginners in particular are welcome.

Training is every Wednesday from 19:00 to 21:00 from 16 years +.
No previous martial arts experience required.

The venue is within 10 minutes walk of North Acton and West Acton tube stations (Central Line) and a slightly longer walk (20 mins) from Acton Central (London Overground) and North Ealing (Piccadilly Line).
For drivers there is plentiful free parking all round the edge of the park.

Grading Wednesday 23rd May 2012
Training will not be on as normal on Wednesday 23rd May due to an all grades exam taking place in the Acton dojo. Anyone who normally trains is welcome to come anyway and watch the gradings and of course to support Jenni and Haythem who will be taking their first belt on the night. We are also honoured to be visited on the night by Mahara Sensei, Sensei Steve Williams, Sensei Chris Lloyd and Sensei Blaise Howard so if any kenshi can arrive a little early for some extra samu that would be fantastic.
News from Japan. We are official!
After having been running for several months as a satelite dojo of the Harrow branch we are now officially recognised by the World Shorinji Kempo Organisation as a dojo in our own right. It doesn't change a great deal on Wednesday nights but it is good to know we are fully supported by hombu. See www.shorinjikempo.or.jp/wsko for details.
